The Vision Stick™ Search Camera is a unique inspection and surveillance tool designed for Homeland Security applications such as vehicle inspection, vessel inspection, and railroad car inspection. It works in any dark area, light area, or confined and hard-to-view space such as sewers, casings, tanks, wells, vaults and compartments. The various models of Vision Stick are small, unique, pole-mounted video cameras with their own light sources and integrated video monitors. Among the many applications is the ability to look into openings as small as 1.5 inches in diameter. The user safely views areas otherwise inaccessible, and can easily adjust the non-conductive, telescoping pole from 48” to 10.5 feet. A choice of an integral IR or LED light source is available.

Our patented, quick-change, slide-through battery system makes it easy to change batteries even during critical operations
without interruption, and the screen does not go blank during a battery change.
In contrast to the more common 5” or 5.5” screen, the Vision Stick features a more company 3.5” screen, making the unit more lightweight and easier to handle. Without compromising screen resolution.
 

Under the Door Viewer:

The Vision Stick UTD system module pictured has a flat paddle, which is intended to slide under a door to view what is on the other side. The system plugs into the monitor power supply. A handle is
 supplied with the system, which allows controlling the system while standing.
The Vision Stick UTD system has a 95° field of view which is off set 30° from the floor which allows viewing the whole room, including beside the door because of its long paddle. The paddle has been left a matte silver cover, since it is less obvious than black against most surfaces and tends to pick up the color of surrounding areas helping it avoid detection of use.  An excellent addition you must have with your SWAT Camera system.

One forward viewing thermal imaging camera and one forward viewing color camera with white light illumination, integrated into a single head.
Fiberglass poles with DelrinTM locking cuffs. First probe pole is covered in PVC foam grip material to provide a firm comfortable grip. Durable black DelrinTM is both insulating and allows for use of the system around live electrical circuits. The black DelrinTM structure is not an applied surface and will not come off or scratch as with anodized SWAT Camera aluminum units.
 

Sound:
Unlike other systems with sound, the Vision Stick places the microphone in the front of the unit because sound is picked best in the direction of the image. There is an omni-directional microphone, providing sound pickup from a wide angle, and therefore is suitable for search and rescue applications where the direction of the sound is unknown. This system is normally supplied with a liquid proof cover over it to protect it in case of immersion.

For narrower pickup — such as conversations from a distance — a more sensitive, directional microphone is also available. This unit has not been liquid proofed, to provide the maximum sensitivity possible from the system. The earphones have level adjustments to provide clear sound at comfortable levels.

Both the sound and the video signal can be transmitted with the Vision Stick S-Link to a base station or second monitor. The sound systems come with a special earphone system, which minimizes the volume if the head is struck.

Wheels:

Optional Wheel Support System for Right Angle Color and Double Joint
The TV-Wheels Options supports the camera end of the probe on a carriage supported by large casters. This results in an easy to maneuver package, which can be easily positioned under low vehicles with less fatigue than the system with out it. The easy snap in / snap out design facilities the use of the system where the wheels are not needed.
